Happy Pickin’ and Happy Crowd

The SunnySide Band at The Rec Center

It was a rainy and chilly night, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the crowd at The Recreation Center in Fredericksburg, VA.  The SunnySide Band was giving the crowd their favorite old-time mountain tunes and their Classic Country tunes, and the crowd was enteracting and energetic to say the least.  Several members of the audience requested tunes, and I know it sounds amazing, but we knew the songs and The Band was able to honor each request.   Jim’s guitar pickin’ was right on time and right on key and Betty was drivin’ that bass like she was on the way back to Richmond.  Carol and her autoharp were delivering all of  The Original Carter Family tunes that she knew and enjoying the ride!

We invite you to visit our Home page and our Music page to enjoy The SunnySide Band playing their favorite roots and classic country tunes, and then purchase one of our CD’s so you can listen to The SunnySide Band any time your heart desires.   We invite you to visit our Gigs page to see where we will be performing in the near future and to visit our Feedback page to leave us a comment and let us know what’s on your mind.  The SunnySide Band would love to come to your next event and share our music with you and your friends, just visit our Contact page and leave us your information.

I sure wish that I could have been there to hear all of the good music….I would especially liked to have heard Betty driving that bass (like she was on her way back to Richmond)…. I’ll bet it was a great night, although, I can’t imagine a night with Sunnyside that isn’t great!!!
