The First Annual produced by Dinah Ansley

Are You From Dixie

The SunnySide Band was delighted to be a part of the first annual Mountain Music Festival in Waynesboro.  There were dulcimers, dulcimers everywhere and a most beautiful instrument they are.  We heard the Galax style, the New York style, the Carolina style and then we heard Don Pedi from Ashville, NC.  He made music on a dulcimer equal to any fiddle that I have heard. What an honor to have played with such a fine musician.  The SunnySide Band entertained the Brunch crowd this morning with sing-a-long gospel tunes, and Don Peni joined us!!!  One of our bestest fans, Lavern Beachy came to the Brunch to support us!  Thank you Lavern!!!  We closed with a moving rendition of Amazing Grace and the 2011 festival was over.  Safe travels to everyone.

The SunnySide Band invites you to visit their Home page and their Music page and listen to a few selections of their old time, classic country and gospel tunes, then visit their Feedback page and leave them a comment or two.  The Band would also encourage you to visit their Gigs page to see where they will be performing next and to consider having them play for your next event.  Just visit their Book Us page and leave your information.

I enjoyed the festival. Especially like the dulcimer style of Don Pedi.
